The parade, in passing

Our first parade performance was by most every measure a success. Technical issues were minimal, the wait was not unbearable and the parade route not too long. We picked our four best songs and got a good response to most all of them.

We saw many friends and fans on the route - thanks for being there for us! It's a rush to hear you cheering. It was also rewarding to see so many people (fans and newbies alike) moving to the music.

Mike, Ross and others noted that we need to do the parade again next year. Perhaps we have a new tradition brewing? Click on the comments link and tell us what you think.

Doctors Orders

Our pre parade wait gives us time to consult the Official Medical Authority of AIDT, Dr. Steven Lore. He gives us this advice:

Criminally Awesome & Under Appreciated

Apparently we were too good for the local music scene. We were practicing for the parade in the parking lot of a church - minding our own business - when the cops came after us.

"Apparently some of your neighbors don't appreciate it." She said after asking if we had an amplified music permit. ('Wha?' was the unanimous response.) Being the upstanding, law abiding citizens we are, we quickly dispersed.

Perhaps they needed to read our mission statement. Annoying neighbors is clearly defined as a guiding principal in this band.

Sneak Preview

Perhaps you were able to participate in a sneak preview event last Thursday (July 16) when the band took a practice run through Danny's neighbor hood. It sounded pretty good, till the sound went out. We're workin' on that.
